I spent my Wednesday in Helsinki, and in one shop I leafed through a copy of Asun, a Finnish interior mag that was launched last year. I had never seen it irl before, and was happily surprised by how fresh and inspiring it felt. It’s run by Ulla Koskinen, former editor-in-chief of Deko, with the competent help from editors Minna Jones and Piia Kalliomäki, so I don’t really know why I was surprised, and I didn’t have low expectations before. I guess what I’m trying to say is that it’s a great looking magazine, so get it if you have the chance. Even if you (like me) don’t know more than three words in Finnish, the pictures are inspiring enough.
