Konstfack, Dec 6-7, open 10 am to 5 pm both days, a huge market where all the students from the different branches of studies team up and sell products exclusively for the Christmas market.
There are always some great finds here, and the prices are usually very reasonable, especially when you consider that you could be buying something from the next rising star on the Swedish design scene. I never miss this one!
Cho Kawaii!, Nov 28-30, mori & mimosa‘s Tokyo inspired Christmas market, in their shop at Högalidsgatan 34. Next door neighbours glass artist Esmée Alexander and textile artist Pasi Välimaa are also opening their studios and have invited other artists to come and join them. The mori & mimosa team has just come home from their travels in japan, and brought some Japanese goodies with them, which will be for sale along with their usual range of great and unusal designs. This is the place to go if you are looking for presents that noone else has seen before.
Also if you like Swedish crafts, check out the market at Skansen every weekend from now until Christmas, it is very old fashioned and traditionally Swedish.
