Mathilda Clahr lives here!

The link to design student Mathilda Clahr’s blog on Odalisque Magazine has been going around the bloggosphere for the last few days, after Lotta Agaton wrote about Mathilda on her blog. I fell in love just like everyone else, and found a treasure trove of photos from Mathilda’s home.

But there is so much more to her blog than that, she has fantastic taste in furniture, art and design, so go check it out for yourselves!

Ems Designblogg is all about Scandinavian style, soft minimalism and beautiful functionalism. The blog is Sweden's oldest interior design blog and has been up and running since 2005. I strive to fill it with a mix of inspirational and aspirational images from all over the world, while keeping true to my own voice and style, where transparency is key and creative criticism is highly valued. When I'm not blogging, I bake chocolate cakes for my kids, hang around Stockholm's cafés and drink way too many cappuccinos, do some occasional styling work, and try to fit in some inspiring travel adventures in between. If you have any suggestions, propositions for collaborations, other ideas or just want to say hi, throw an email at: [email protected].

    Hej Emma!
Vet du varifrån den kantiga pappersjordgloben kommer ifrån?

  • Den finns på Artilleriet tror jag, och Asplund eller Nordiska Galleriet, minns inte vilket.

  • Ikea, I believe. 🙂

  • Så fint och så härligt mycket inspiration!

  • The carpet I found at the Scandinavian auction site Lauritz. You might find a similar one at the site or at IKEA.
